  • What is Reiki?
    Reiki (Ray-kee) originates from Japan. Rei meaning "Universal life" and Ki meaning "energy". Reiki is a universal life force energy that can do no harm and is infinite and abundant in nature. A practitioner is a conduit for this energy which creates space for you to heal yourself.
  • How long is a session?
    Sessions range from 30-90 minutes. The most common is 60 minutes. Your session time depends on how long you find it comfortable to sit or lay. Your practitioner may suggest a certain time frame that best suites your treatment.
  • How many sessions do I need?
    This depends on your own healing needs. Discuss with your practitioner what you are looking for and they can help determine what is best for you.
  • What does Reiki do for me? (Benefits of Reiki)
    Reiki provides MANY benefits physically, mentally, and spiritually. Mind- stress reduction, deep relaxation, anxiety and depression relief, emotional balance, self esteem, grief Body- deep relaxation, multiple sessions can lead to decrease in pain, relaxation prior to surgery, hospice care, side effects from medications/ treatments, fatigue, insomnia. Spirit- move through trauma, ancestral healing, higher vibration, self help, energetic blockages *Although Reiki is used in medical care it is NOT a replacement for medical care. Please continue to consult your doctor and receive medical treatment in addition to Reiki treatments.
